A bamboo rack with upright slots that stands plates on their edge instead of stacking them flat. Nothing is trapped under anything else, so the plate you want comes out without lifting five others first.
The same slots take pot lids, bowls, cups, cutting boards, placemats and even a row of cookbooks, which makes the rack as useful inside a cabinet as it is on the counter. The bamboo is treated so it resists mildew, and it will not crack or deform in a working kitchen.
Care: wash by hand with mild soap and water, then dry thoroughly before putting it away. Supplied as a single rack.
