Privacy Policy

This policy explains what Ijiexi does with personal information collected through ijiexi.com: what we take, why we take it, who else sees it, how long we keep it and what you can ask us to do with it. It applies to visitors to the site and to customers who place an order.

1. What we collect

We collect only what an online shop needs to take an order and get it to you.

• Contact and delivery details you type in yourself: name, email address, telephone number, shipping address and billing address.
• Order records: the products bought, the value, the order history attached to your email address, and the messages you exchange with our support team.
• Technical data gathered automatically when you browse: IP address, browser and device type, device identifiers, the pages viewed and the order they were viewed in, the referring address and the time of each visit.

2. Payment details

Payments are processed by Shopify Payments under the PCI-DSS standard. Card numbers, security codes and payment credentials are handled directly by that processor and are never stored on our servers. What comes back to us is the confirmation that a payment succeeded, the card type and last digits, and the billing name and address.

3. Why we use it

• To take payment, pack an order, ship it, and handle any return or refund that follows.
• To send transactional messages: confirmations, shipping notices and tracking numbers.
• To answer support requests and keep a record of what was agreed.
• To detect and prevent fraudulent orders and unauthorised transactions.
• To understand how the site is used and to fix what is not working.
• To meet tax, accounting and other legal obligations.
• To send marketing messages, and only where you have asked for them. Every one carries an unsubscribe link and consent can be withdrawn at any time.

4. Who else sees it

We share personal information with third-party service providers only where they need it to do a job for us, and only the part of it they need:

• Our e-commerce platform provider, which hosts the store and its order records.
• The payment processor named above, to take and settle payments.
• Shipping carriers, to deliver the parcel and provide tracking.
• Analytics providers, to measure site usage.

We may also disclose information where the law, a regulator or a legal process requires it, or where it is necessary to protect our rights, our property or someone's safety. Beyond that, nothing leaves us. We do not sell, rent or trade personal information, and we do not hand it to anyone for their own marketing.

5. Cookies and similar technology

The site uses cookies and similar technologies to keep a cart working between pages, remember preferences and measure traffic. You can refuse or delete cookies in your browser settings; some parts of the shop, the cart in particular, will not work properly if you do.

6. How long we keep it

Order and transaction records are kept as long as we need them to support the purchase, honour the return window, resolve a dispute and satisfy tax and accounting rules. Support correspondence is kept while it is relevant. When information no longer serves any of those purposes it is deleted or irreversibly anonymised.

7. Keeping it safe

We apply administrative, technical and physical safeguards, and traffic between your browser and our servers is encrypted with SSL/TLS. No system is perfectly secure, and we do not claim otherwise; if a breach ever affected your data we would act on it and tell you where the law requires it.

8. Your choices

• Ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
• Ask us to correct anything that is wrong or out of date.
• Ask us to delete your information, where no legal obligation requires us to keep it.
• Withdraw consent to marketing, either through the unsubscribe link or by writing to us.

Send any of these requests to support@ijiexi.com and we will deal with them within the time the law allows. We may need to confirm who you are before acting.

9. California residents (CCPA)

If you live in California, the California Consumer Privacy Act gives you these additional rights:

• Right to know which categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected, and where they came from.
• Right to delete your personal information, subject to the exceptions the statute allows.
• Right to opt out of sale. We do not sell personal information. If that ever changed we would publish a clear opt-out before it did.
• Right to non-discrimination: exercising a privacy right will never change the price you pay or the service you receive.

10. Children

The site is meant for adults and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13, in line with COPPA. If you believe a child has given us information, write to support@ijiexi.com and we will delete it promptly.

11. Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated as the shop or the law changes. The revised version is posted on this page with a new effective date, and continuing to use the site after that means the revised policy applies.
